California History Room Databases

Sometimes a library catalog is too general for a serious researcher. That is why we created these four databases! Each database provides detailed information about specific resources within the California History Section's collections, including selected periodicals, manuscript collections, books and more! If you have any questions about using these resources please feel free to contact us.

A continuation of the California Information File I, this database contains more than 85,000 references to California people, places, events, and subjects as they appear in our collections, periodicals, manuscript, postcard and ephemera collections.
