The digital images in the California State Library Picture Catalog are available FREE OF CHARGE. Only existing digital images (represented by a thumbnail in the Picture Catalog) may be requested. We are unable to scan on demand.

You may view and download low-resolution and/or high-resolution images from the Picture Catalog by clicking on the link in each picture record labelled "View low-resolution JPEG" (open image, right click and save) or "Download High-Resolution TIFF" (click on link and select save option from pop-up window).

Reproduction of any materials from the California State Library's collections, for publication, commercial display or other non-private use, requires the advance written permission of the State Library.
